Dr. Brass
is board
certified
by
the American Board of Ophthalmology. He is
fellowship trained in corneal diseases and refractive
surgery. Dr. Brass provides care for all types of
eye conditions, including cataracts, corneal transplants,
glaucoma, diabetic related problems, crossed eyes, as well
as routine eye care for children and adults.
Dr. Brass
graduated, with distinction, from Clarkson University,
having earned a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical
engineering and technical communications. He is a
graduate of the University of Wisconsin School of
Medicine. He finished ophthalmology residency at New
York Medical College and completed a corneal fellowship at
the University of Wisconsin.
In
addition to private practice, Dr. Brass is a clinical
Associate Professor at Albany Medical Center, teaching
state of the art ophthalmic surgery and clinical skills to
residents at the Stratton VA Medical Center. In
addition, Dr. Brass instructs Family Practice residents in
the care of eye diseases.
